John Boehner is using the debt ceiling once again, this time in negotiations over the ACA implementation, which was passed by the Supreme Court. This is the second time within the past two years in which the debt ceiling was tied to demands from the GOP. This type of negotiating has never been attempted prior to John Boehner. I know the constitution does not have a clause preventing this from occurring, but the fact that this tactic is being used this frequently is very dangerous and disturbing to me. This cannot be our way of governing henceforth because the system will become corrupted, but I fear this may become the norm. Can you weigh in with your thoughts on this matter?
