I have bowled balls that have spun more than that and not taken a wicket. Likewise I have bowled balls that have not spun and taken wickets. But on that day everything came together at once. It was my first ball on a cold day. For a leg-spinner it is hard to turn your first ball on a chilly day because you need to get your fingers working around the ball.
