He went out of my comfort zone the whole way and did loops so I could catch up. I was completely demoralised. And then, getting to the 20-mile mark, I got a puncture and had to call my wife to rescue me. I have a puncture repair kit, pump and spare tyre but I need someone to teach me how to use them.
